About the tour
This fabulous barge cruise brings you the very best of France's elegant Provence region. Uncover the region's hidden gems, from Étang De Thau's shellfish to the medieval treasures of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.
With each stop, we dive into the heart of Provence. Visit an authentic 'manade' farm, explore medieval Aigues-Mortes, and witness the wild beauty of the Camargue. A guided tour of the fascinating Roman ruins in Arles perfectly rounds off a wonderful adventure.

Comfortable accommodation and good food. Well chosen trips that did not require too much exertion, ideal for older people.

I did this trip 7 or 8 years ago and the food was so good I just had to do it again. No disappointment. On this occasion the CroisiEurope staff were, if anything, even better than the last time. Good excursions and organisation. Baggageman was worth doing, too, as my colleague was 91 and would not have been able to manage his case.

Trouble free train journey from St Pancras, through Paris, and onto Sete. Very welcoming barge crew, always on hand . Wonderful food and wine. Wide open spaces during canal trip, plenty of flamingos. Excursions well organised and guided. Would recommend this Great Rail to everyone!

Excellent pre- journey care - London hotel booking, travel rep call, baggage man , all good. On board, very caring staff all trained to high level. Delicious meals. Excursions very interesting especially visit to “manade” and also olive farm. Not so keen on seaside town but maybe spoilt by rain!
